Riverlea Arts Revue

On Saturday, August 26 from 3pm-5:00 pm in the "Circle Park" local Riverlea artists will be showing their works. Local musicians will perform. There will be face painting, crafts and sidewalk chalk for the kids. (though there are no sidewalks in RIverlea) Please check it out, as it should be a great time.

Is recall necessary?

In the aftermath of the recall of the ordinance which limited lot size, there is a movement to have the board and mayor of Riverlea to be recalled. I'll look more into this and what it means and how it would work. If you would like to sign the petition, contact Joel. I'm not even sure how many signatures but I'll try to get more details.

Personally, I think we've done our job getting that ordinance repealed. I think the mayor and board have done a great job overall. We followed the democratic process and it worked and that should be enough. We shouldn’t need to recall the board.
