Whew! God Job everyone

Council was definitely blown away tonight by the attendance at the meeting. I counted over 30 names on the attendance sheet. The main people to spearhead the emergency meeting spoke very clearly and firmly and made their appeal clear. The board clearly saw that the ordinance (I still don't know what number) touched the heart strings of a lot of people. I've lived in the village for three years and this is the first council meeting I've been to, and most of my fellow villagers too. Anyways, the ordinance was appealed (with another ordinance) which is funny because the first ordinance hasn't taken affect. THEREFORE, THE FORMER ORDINANCE WILL BE "LAW" FOR TWENTY ( OR SO ) DAYS UNTIL OUR NEW ORDINANCE TAKES EFFECT. Ironically our "revocation ordinance" was voted on to bypass the three readings which the ordinance we were revoking only received two. Anyways...

This appears past us and I hope that the villagers (including my self) take more interest in what the Council is doing. Hopefully, the council will post more ordinance information online and contact people too. Thanks to MJ for opening her beautiful home and the Council for doing their thankless job.
